Located within the Chancellery, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) is responsible for leading the university in the achievement of its internationalisation goals. Specifically, the DVC(I) will provide strategic, innovative and accountable academic leadership of its international research, education and engagement activities.

The appointee to this key position will be a senior academic with an outstanding track record of research, education and engagement at an international level. They will possess the capacity to provide vision and strategic direction together with the ability to deliver and implement. Most critically, the successful candidate will have a global perspective and the capacity to interpret the shifts in economic and geopolitical influence and their implications for a globally connected institution.

Finally, the appointee will report to the Vice Chancellor, ensure the effective management of portfolio resources and budgets and participate as a collaborative member of the University's executive.
