The Education Portfolio is headed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Vice President who leads the planning and implementation of the University's strategies related to RMIT's academic programs and the RMIT student experience. The Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.
The Role & Your Responsibilities
The Senior Advisor Student Partnerships is responsible for providing strategic support, coordination and planning to ensure RMIT University expertly and effectively manages it relationship with key student stakeholder groups and representatives. They will also manage and support projects that engage and amplify the student voice and perspective in the co-design and delivery of key student experience initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in engaging and managing key stakeholder relationships within a complex environment. They will also have experience in working with data and stakeholders to identify emerging and unmet needs and to develop solutions to meet those needs. Highly developed organisational skills, with an attention to detail and the ability and resilience to respond quickly to changes in requirements will be highly regarded. Highly developed problem-solving and creative thinking skills demonstrated in the design and delivery of improvements in student experience will be imperative to your success in this role.
