About University Services

University Services comprises of 1,600 professional staff focused on providing client centric and innovative services to the University. The group is providing transformational change, defining and influencing future service enhancements within the University of Melbourne. The Senior Enrolment Coordinator is a member of the Stop 1 Team which sits within the Academic Services portfolio.

About the role

There are five Senior Enrolment Coordinators (SECs). The SECs are based at Stop 1 and play a key role in the delivery of sizeable (given the number students and courses involved) and time-critical, enrolment-related services to students and colleagues from across the University.

Examples of the activities to which the SECs are required to make a substantial contribution include: course unsatisfactory academic progress, course completions, re-enrolment, enrolment audits, advanced standing, government reporting, assessment of study abroad and exchange applications, and management of enrolment variations and study plans.

In the first instance, this newly appointed SEC's focus will include post census date enrolment amendments, re-enrolment, and government reporting.

About you

  • You hold an undergraduate qualification with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

  • You have a demonstrated ability to organise, lead, deliver and continually refine high volume and time-critical enrolment-related activities that entail excellent attention to detail and coordinating contributions from other colleagues.

  • You enjoy providing accessible and expert guidance, support and other services to a wide range of students and colleagues.

  • You have strong interpersonal skills, and are able to interact effectively with a wide range of students and colleagues in different settings.

  • You have superior data management skills (e.g. able to manage large data sets with accuracy and ease)

  • You have a proven ability to thrive in a changing and fast paced environment
