The Professor of Dental and Oral Health Research will support the Head of School in implementing the Schools Research Plan and will be expected to advance research productivity within the School, including attracting external grant income, and to lead innovative research based teaching in the School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
This is a continuing, full time position based at the Gold Coast campus.
The Professor of Dental and Oral Health Research is a member of the School of Dentistry and Oral Health's academic team, and specifically will be a senior research leader who will build upon Griffith's already strong program of dental and oral health research, developing partnerships and leading research aimed at improving health and community care through the health professions.
The successful applicant will advance research productivity in the School of Dentistry and Oral Health: lead, promote and support the development of a research environment and culture; develop and lead a program of research contributing to School outputs: and lead innovative research based teaching.
Salary range: Professor, Level E: $172,326 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $201,622 per annum.
