Further information about Griffith Health and its constituent schools, research and research programs, clinics and dedicated staff can be found on the Griffith Health website at http://www.griffith.edu.au/health The Professor of Restorative Dentistry will support the Head of School in implementing the School's Learning & Teaching and Research Plans and will be expected to advance research-informed clinical education and research within the School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the Gold Coast campus.

The role

The Professor of Restorative Dentistry is a member of the School of Dentistry & Oral Health's academic team, and specifically will plan and lead education in restorative (operative) dentistry, conduct research, and undertake administrative duties. The Professor will build upon Griffith's already strong program of dental and oral health courses and develop clinical and research partnerships aimed at improving health and community care through the health professions.

The person

The successful applicant will provide effective leadership in developing and delivering undergraduate and graduate courses; innovative approaches to teaching, research and scholarship; and management of the Restorative (Operative) dentistry discipline. You will actively contribute towards School research outputs and involvement in professional activities in the wider community.

Salary range: Professor, Level E: $172,326 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $201,622 per annum.
