The School of Accounting is seeking an academic with a strong international profile to drive excellence through academic leadership, the delivery of high quality research outcomes, innovative teaching and industry engagement.

Your appointment will be a full-time continuing position as a Teaching and Research Academic within the School of Accounting, commencing Semester 1 2018.

As a Professor, your role makes significant contributions to research and teaching. As an experienced academic, you will make major, original and innovative contributions to scholarly research of an international standing with research publications in leading accounting journals in recent years and have an established record of substantial research income consistent with a national leader in accounting. You will deliver high-quality teaching and provide leadership in major curriculum initiatives and/or pedagogical developments in the area of accounting. You will also have demonstrable success in supervision of HDR students. A strong emphasis of your role will also be to significantly contribute to and provide leadership in external activities relevant to the discipline/profession and industry engagement.

A PhD qualification with a concurrent strong track record of publications in top journals in a discipline relevant to the School of Accounting is essential. Demonstrated leadership of integrated research activity both within and across groups in academia as well as industry is paramount to your success in this position.
