The Faculty of Engineering is one of the largest in Australia, renowned worldwide for the quality and calibre of our teaching, research and graduates. Our research activities provide a platform for establishing a thriving educational enterprise and our staff are committed to creating a dynamic learning environment for our students.

We are now seeking multiple Educational Designers to join our team who are dedicated to contributing to continuous improvement in education. One of the roles will focus on supporting the development of new courses and specialisations, and the other roles will be supporting the development of coursework in current undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at the University. In these roles you will be responsible for providing educational innovation support and advice to academic and professional staff across the faculty. You will play an integral role in effecting a smooth transition to new educational approaches and technologies.

To be successful in these roles, you will have previous experience in designing curriculum, learning resources and activities for blended and online teaching and active learning in class as well as experience in delivering effective and engaging training to staff. You will be highly organised and have strong project management skills to support the planning and delivery of new courses and/or units. Your highly-developed investigative and analytical skills will be important for identifying potential issues/problems and finding a quick, yet appropriate resolution to them.

Are you looking for your next challenge? Would you thrive being a part of a dedicated team? Then we look forward to hearing from you!

These roles are full-time positions; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
