The Associate Professor in Periodontology will be involved in teaching and course administration in the School's undergraduate periodontology courses and particularly in the School's DClinDent (Periodontology) and MClinDent (Implantology) programs. The successful applicant will also be expected to have, or develop research activities consistent with the School and Group research plans.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the Gold Coast campus.

The role

The Associate Professor in Periodontology is a member of the School of Dentistry and Oral Health's academic team. The position is aimed at clinicians with qualifications to specifically provide didactic and clinical learning and teaching services in periodontology with an emphasis on implantology which meet the expectations of the School of Dentistry and Oral Health, in accordance with University policies and standards of service and quality.

The person

The successful applicant will provide effective teaching and course administration in the School's undergraduate periodontology courses, particularly in the School's DClinDent (Periodontology) and MClinDent (Implantology) programs. You will actively contribute towards School research outputs and be involved in professional activities in the wider community.

Salary range: Associate Professor, Level D: $133,778 - $147,383 per annum and an employer superannuation contribution of 17% of base salary will be offered.
