The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Project Officer reports to the Project Manager and will support a range of projects within the Planning and Resources portfolio of the College of Design and Social Context. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and delivering on specific strategic and operational projects within the College. The Project Officer will work collaboratively and pro-actively with key stakeholders including professional, academic, teaching and College staff to achieve strategically aligned and sustainable outcomes.

This role is responsible for providing responsive project management services and support. The position will play a key role in support of the delivery of the service model project which is a key initiative in the College's Annual plan.

Skills and Experience Required

You will have demonstrated project management skills and experience and have strong interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with staff at various organisational levels and work cooperatively as a member of a team. Your well-developed organisational, planning and project administration skills together with your excellent communication will be essential to your success in this role.
