The role and your responsibilities

The Administrative Officer supports the College of Business Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs, as well as activities relevant to the College of Business Industry Engagement Group's strategic initiatives. The position undertakes promotional and administrative activities to ensure that RMIT students, staff and relevant external organisations are aware of, and participate, in the various Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs; and also plays a pivotal role in delivering the key elements of the programs.

Skills and experience required

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in providing administrative support, preferably in a tertiary education environment. Your demonstrated ability to work collaborative in a team efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision will be critical to your success in this role. Furthermore, key to this role will be your highly developed interpersonal skills, excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to form working relationships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds at all levels of an organisation. Your ability to organise and prioritise work and complete tasks with tight timelines will be essential, as will an ability to follow procedures and use systems to maximise efficiencies.
