The Role and Your Responsibilities
The Associate Professor is expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching and research efforts in Mechanical and Automotive discipline especially in Automotive Materials and Lightweight Manufacturing of Automotive and other Vehicle Structures such as Railways and Trains, Aircrafts, etc. The incumbent will be expected to participate in the academic activities of the School and the College and to pursue a program of professional development consistent with the strategic goals of the School. This is a senior academic position, within the Discipline of Mechanical and Automotive, who is expected to undertake high quality teaching, research and industry engagement in the designated field both nationally and internationally.
**Skills & Experience Required
** You will have a proven record of academic and/or professional achievement in Automotive Materials and Lightweight Manufacturing of Automotive, other Vehicle Structures and Applications. Your ability to undertake high quality research in the designated field resulting in high quality journal articles in recognized international journals and your ability to prepare and win competitive research grants and/or research contracts with industry will be essential to your success in this role.
