The role and your responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing high quality, flexible administrative and secretarial support to a senior staff member within the School of Management and will contribute to designated tasks that support College of Business operations more broadly. The successful candidate will undertake a range of tasks associated with research administration. The nature of the position requires regular contact with different sectors within the University and interactions with external agencies and with staff in other education institutions. You will contribute to projects and collaborate with administration and professional staff members within the School of Management as required.

Key skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will bring to the role relevant experience in providing high-level administrative support in a university environment or similar large and complex organisation and covering: research administration, travel management, correspondence, action management, document development, information management and high-level stakeholder liaison. Your demonstrated organisation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills will be critical to your success in this role. Furthermore, key to this role will be your experience and expertise in the provision of quality customer services, including sound knowledge and consistent application of relevant University policy and procedures and the ability to provide advice
