The Education Portfolio is headed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Vice President who leads the planning and implementation of the University's strategies related to RMIT's academic programs and the RMIT student experience. The Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.The Education Portfolio plays a key role in empowering students to access education, participate actively in the life of the University and achieve successful and fulfilling lives beyond graduation. The provision of a stimulating and satisfying experience for students is a priority for the University. The Academic Registrar's Group (ARG) is responsible for the administrative, policy and governance activities of the University which relate to the student lifecycle.

The Role and Your Responsibilities
The Single and Short Courses Officer is responsible for delivering high quality, timely and service focused solutions to internal and external clients via telephone, email and in person. Furthermore, the position will respond to, and accurately process, enquiries, enrolments and payments for RMIT University short and single courses. The position may require attendance at after-hours marketing events where required.

Skills & Experience Required
You will have demonstrated experience in delivering high quality client service with proven experience in customer service roles within professional services/commercial environments. You will have effective and efficient administration, problem solving and numerical skills, including high attention to detail. Your strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with both internal and external clients from a variety cultural backgrounds and organisational levels, will be key to your success in this role. Furthermore, your excellent written and verbal communication (including telephone and in person) and your ability to work as part of a team in the achievement of business objectives combined with a flexible, positive can-do attitude will essential to your success in this role.
