- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Home and Community)
The School of Global Urban and Social Studies is recognised as a leading provider of programs in Community Services from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma level. Sessional teaching work is available working within a friendly team of professionals at our city campus and assessing students on placement in residential care facilities in the Melbourne metropolitan area. Occasionally there is other work available such as designing and mapping assessment, conducting RPL, and small projects which require a high level of VE expertise. We are seeking expressions of interest from people for work in semester 1 2017. Preferably you will have a Vocational Education or undergraduate qualification in the aged care or nursing field and extensive and current industry experience in the Aged Care industry. Demonstrated experience of teaching in Vocational Education is preferred, and a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) is essential.
Appointment to a casual teaching position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check.
