Your role:

You will utilise your strong research skills and critical thinking to contribute to the research and evaluation programs that strengthen the Australia Council's standing as a national leader in arts and cultural research.

What this means for you

  • Salary package of $89,855( $77,864 + 15.4% superannuation)
  • 3-year full-time contract
  • Paid leave between Christmas and New Year
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid work arrangements (office location: Pyrmont, Sydney)

What will you be doing?

  • Contributing to the development of research and evaluation programs
  • Communicating research and evaluation findings to a variety of audiences
  • Developing key insights from research and evaluation conclusions
  • Facilitating the delivery of research and evaluation projects through data collection and analysis and management of external suppliers
  • Committing to the ongoing improvement of research and evaluation processes and techniques

What we need from you

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research, with an emphasis on quantitative methodologies
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within the team and with stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of research and/or evaluation methods and design
  • Strong data collection, analysis, and interpretation skills
